Israel kill one Palestinian, foreigners show solidarity to Palestinians

The Palestinian Khalil Ibrahim al-Khazouqi (22 year old) was shot on when the Israeli soldiers opened fire on him while he was inside a car inonits way between the two check points of Abu Haul in Deir al-Balah and al-Matahain ( the mills ) in Khan Younis and prevented the ambulance from arriving to the site to take the body of the killed Palestinian to his family.

Another Palestinian was wounded by the Israeli bullets in the same area and was admitted to the hospital in Khan Younis for medical treatment.

The director of the Palestinian general security in the area Lt. Gen. Abdul Razzaq al-Maheyda said that the shot Palestinian citizen was an ordinary passenger in a car stopped by the Israeli soldiers who ordered the passengers to leave and then opened fire at him to death.

Meantime, the Israeli tanks and bulldozers incurred in Deir al-Balah and demolished vast areas of the agricultural lands, uprooted fruit trees and destroyed the greenhouses.

Meanwhile a huge demonstration held in Nablus attended by scores of foreigners in solidarity with the Palestinian people under military curfew by the Israelis since more than 90 days.

During the demonstration, banners were raised calling on the UN to immediately interfere to break the Israeli military siege and lift the curfew and open schools before the students who are receiving their studied in collapsed buildings after the Israeli forces had destroyed their schools and converted them into military barracks.

To this effect, the chairman of the maps department in the Arab studies society and member of the Palestinian negotiating team Khalil al-Tafakji said that the government of Sharon is working to expand Jerusalem's frontier with the aim to annex and include all settlements which are situated outside the borders of the city, silently away from the media or any international reaction under the pretext of preserving the security of the settlers.
