Delegation of Palestinian struggle support association visits Cairo
Morocco-Palestine, Politics, 5/25/2002

A delegation from the Moroccan Association for the Support of the Palestinian Struggle (AMSLP) arrived in Cairo Thursday, and will go to the check point of Rafah to hand an aid to the Palestinian authority.

Head of the delegation, the Association vice-president Abdelhafid Oulaalou, said the aid, consisting of food, medical equipment and medicines, worth some US$ 35 million, is a result of the AMSLP's fund raising operation entitled "We are all Palestinians."

The aid may be unimportant, but it is of a great symbolic value, and evidences the ties of fraternity and solidarity of the Moroccan people with Palestinians in their legitimate struggle to recover its abused rights, Oulaalou said.

The AMSLP will take the administrative and technical dispositions to hand the aid through the check point, in collaboration with the Moroccan embassy in Cairo, the Palestinian Red Crescent and the Egyptian authorities.
