Rabat wilaya donates 4 mln dirhams to al-Quds fund
Morocco-Palestine, Culture, 5/18/2002

The Wilaya (grand prefecture) of Rabat (Morocco's capital city) donated 4 million dirhams, roughly US$ 347.82, to the Bait Mal Al-Quds Fund. The assistance, decided by the prefecture's council, will be used to build a hospital in occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the rest to reconstruct Palestinian infrastructure destroyed during the recent Israel invasion of the Palestinian territories.

Palestinian ambassador to Morocco, Abu Marwane, who attended the signing of the accord on the aid, said the donation will help the Palestinian people continue with determination their struggle against the occupier.

The Bait Mal Al-Quds Fund is an agency, created by Al-Quds Committee (an arm of the Organization of Islamic Conference) seeks to safeguard the Arab and Islamic identity of Jerusalem against Israeli judaization attempts.
