Yemen evacuates 4 Britons, One Dutch over violating entry laws

A high ranking official at the Yemeni ministry of the interior said on Tuesday that Yemen has evacuated four Britons and one Dutch within the first shift which includes 115 students who were expelled to their countries over violating laws pertinent to entry visas granted to them.

News reports quoted the Yemeni official as saying that the evacuation process started last week by the expulsion of the four Britons the one Dutch after the Yemeni authorities have conducted necessary investigations with them. He made it clear that other 11 persons were arrested over having links with armed groups.

The Yemeni official continued that the evacuation process will continue at shifts.

On the other hand, a Yemeni official at the Yemeni passport and migration department said on Tuesday that Yemen has expelled some 3293 persons over violating laws on entry visas granted to them in 2001.
