France opposes striking Iraq

The French defense minister Allen Richard has renewed France's rejection to a possible attack against Iraq, considering such an operation as very damaging.
In an interview with the BBC on Thursday in conclusion of the French- British summit, Richard said " Certainly, the US will not get our support in case it wages such a war." Richard said that the military action is not the proper answer to Iraq's rejection for the return back of the international inspectors to Baghdad.
Certain diplomats said that the US intends to strike Iraq if Baghdad refuses the return back of UN experts who are in charge of making sure that the Iraqi weapons were dismantled.
