Butaflika calls for dealing with the Palestinian issue seriously

Algerian President Abdul Aziz Butaflika on Monday in Washington called on the US and the European states to deal with the Palestinian issue seriously.
News reports said that Butaflika stressed to the press following his second meeting with the US President George Bush for this year, the importance of finding out a just and comprehensive solution to the conflict in the Middle East which provides for achieving the unwavering rights of the Palestinian people to the establishment of their own independent state, urging the need to maintain this solution very soon in order to ensure the safety of the international community.
Butaflika continued that " doubtless that the campaign against terrorism will be more solid and effective if it will seek also to settle problems, repression and poverty in the world." Butaflika stressed his country's determination to fulfil all its obligations and responsibilities in the international efforts to fighting terrorism.
