Abul Gheit: Egypt gives integral patronage to the aged

Ambassador Ahmed Abul Gheit, Egypt's permanent delegate to the United Nations, asserted that the integral patronage of the aged people is one of the basic and noble aims, which Egypt is trying to realise through the official institutions and the voluntary action of the NGO's and through activating the role of the direct and surrogate families. .
During the UN Social Committee, preparing to the "2nd World Conference on Old age," slated in Madrid next year, Ambassador Abul Gheit asserted that Egypt's policy in providing a decent life to the aged, is based on the kind religious creed and social values deeply-rooted in the Egyptian society since the dawn of history.
