Government adopts package of agreements with Mauritania

The Moroccan government adopted on Thursday a package of agreements concluded with Mauritania to promote cooperation in investments, information and culture.
The agreement on investments provides for the creation of appropriate conditions for the development of economic cooperation between the two Maghreban states by encouraging and protecting investments.
The 2nd agreement dealing with information is meant to consolidate friendship relations between the two states by increasing the exchange of information and data through radio, TV, cinema, publications, news agencies and the conclusion of agreements between Moroccan and Mauritanian cultural bodies.
Another agreement adopted by the government deals with sea fisheries. It lays down foundations for cooperation in training, scientific research, supervision and financing of sea products marketing, cooperation between institutions and coordination in regional and international specialized organizations.
