Egypt calls for an international conference to rescue Iraq's archeology

An international symposium about Babel's archeology, the Babylon arts and its relations with the neighbor countries and the centers of the ancient civilizations the most important of which is Egypt - was held on margin of Babylon international cultural festival in Baghdad.

In the symposium, Mohammed Abd El-Maksud, the general manager of east Delta, canal and Sinai archeology - participated from Egypt as he presented research about Egypt's concern with Iraq's archeology and civilization, referring to Egypt's invitation for convening an international conference for the archeologists in the world to protected and save Iraq's archeology .

He spoke about Egypt's contribution and international experience to save Iraq's archeology by sending missions and Egyptian experts to it for restoration, archeology and maintenance fields.
