This is a basic beef broth used in many recipes.
soup meat, 2.5 pound, cubed
vegitable oil, 3 Tablespoons
salt, 1 Tablespoon
water, 4 pints
In a large sauce pan lightly brown meat and bones in oil,drain.
pour in the water, add salt and bring to a boil.
Skim fat off top.
Cover saucepan, turn down heat and simmer , adding more water if
neccesary. Cook until meat is tender enough to fall off the bones,
approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.
