Yemeni journalist Moujib Soueileh beating by police
Reporters Without Borders has noted the beating which Moujib Soueileh, a camera operator with the Arabic-language satellite TV news station Al-Arabiya, received from police in Sanaa on 20 October 2005 while filming a demonstration by textile factory workers demanding payment of wage arrears.

12 Yemeni police killed in ambush by Houthi followers
A Yemeni tribal source said on Monday that 12 men of the Yemeni security forces including many officers were killed on Saturday in an ambush implanted by the Houthi followers, of al-Zeidi minority sect, in Menya town in Sadah governorate ( northewest of Yemen).
