Six gunmen on Wednesday evening kidnapped a German expert working for " Sebestel Yemen" company for GSM telecommunications. A private sector company, including Lebanese businessmen, in the downtown of the capital Sanaa.

Two explosions in Yemen targeted government's offices
Two strong explosions took place near the main offices of the province of Shabwa in Southern Yemen and in the headquarters of the Yemeni opposition coalition for Islamic reforms in the city of Ataq, the capital of the said province on Tuesday evening. " No casualties were reported," according to a Yemeni security official.

An agreement to use the Yemeni Labor force in UAE
Ratified documents were exchanged in Abu Dhabi of an agreement provided for the use of the Yemeni labor force in the United Arab Emirates already signed between the UAE minister of state for foreign affairs Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed al-Nahyan in February this year.

Saleh, Bush strengthen co-operation to fighting terrorism
The US and Yemen have discussed the issue of strengthening their co-operation on the area of fighting terrorism on Tuesday evening in Washington between the US President George Bush and the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, but the two countries could not achieve a memorandum of understanding on co-operation in fighting terrorism and supporting development in Yemen.

Yemeni president to arrive in Germany tomorrow
The spokeswoman for the German government said that the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, currently in a tour on the US and Europe will on Thursday ( tomorrow) start a work visit to Berlin during which he will be meeting with the German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.
