605 affected by AIDS virus in Yemen
The number of those who are affected by the AIDS virus in Yemen has reached at least 605 at the middle of July. Formal reports uncovered that the number of AIDS patients reached 277 cases, while the number of those known to carry the virus number 328.

Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has accused Saudi troops of attacking al-Dweira island in the Red Sea. He said the attacks resulted in the deaths of three Yemenis while another nine were reported wounded.
