Maghreb Arab Union consultations
"In line with the urgent consultations and contacts currently underway among Arab Maghreb Union member states, following the statement by the General People's Committee for Foreign Liaison and International Co-operation on (Libya) relinquishing the presidency of the Union, Tunisian News agency reported that President Zine al-Abdin Ben Ali and President Abdul Aziz Butfliqa of Algeria exchanged points of view on issues related to the progress of the Arab Maghreb Union, on the phone yesterday" JANA reported.
