Ben Ali calls on Africa to withstand globalization challenges
In a speech he addressed to the African Bank Forum for development currently held in Tunisia, the Tunisian President Zine al-Abidin Ben Ali said that "our world today" is witnessing accelerated developments, that it makes it imperative to make more efforts to enable the African continent to cope with these changes and joining developing countries's march and achieving sustainable development.

Tunisia releases journalist al-Zwari, monitors him
The Tunisian authorities on Saturday released journalist and leading figure on the Islamic al-Nahda movement Abdullah al-Zwari after he had spent 13 years in prison of which 7 years were in a separate cell.
