Tunisia denies news on Ben Ali poor health
Tunisian official sources denied a report stated by the French daily Liberation yesterday on rumors widely spread in Tunisia to that Zine El Abidine Ben Ali suffers poor health. A matter which has forced him to limit the number of his public appearances.

Amnesty International calls on Tunisia to halt human rights violations
Amnesty International has called on the Tunisian authorities to put an end to human rights violations. In its first main report about Tunisia since 1998, Amnesty International said that the Tunisian security authorities continue violations of international norms and laws of human rights through oppressive detention, torture, single imprisonment.
