Tunisia: the government studies draft law on fighting terrorism
In a meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of President Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali the Tunisian Cabinet discussed the draft law pertinent to "terrorist crimes and resisting international terrorism," according to an official Tunisian source.

Arab Maghreb foreign ministers meet in January, a summit expected this year
The Tunisian foreign minister al-Habib Bin Yahya has stressed that the foreign ministers of the Arab Maghreb federation states will hold a meeting on January 16 and 17 in Algiers in order to revive and reactivate the federation's establishments in addition to selecting a new secretary general for the federation's secretary general in succession to Muhammad Amamou.
