Tunisian president stresses protection of human rights, freedoms
Tunisian President Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali has stressed that the outcome of the rapid telecommunication changes and rapid technology "at the level of thinking and behavior in individuals and groups, and the breakthrough attained in sciences and various cultures, all require further closeness and co-operation of the international community so as to honor man's sovereignty and preserving his rights."
