Al-Assad: we will withdraw our forces completely; we committed mistakes in Lebanon
The Syrian President Bashar al- Assad said today in his speech before the Syrian parliament in Damascus at 6 p.m. ( local Time) that Damascus will withdraw its forces positioned in Lebanon, fully to the Bekaa area and then to the area of the Lebanese- Syrian border area.

Russian FM confers with Syrian deputy FM
Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov discussed with Syria's Deputy Foreign Minister, Walid Muallim the developments in the region and the Lebanese issue. In a statement to reporters following the meeting, Lavrov said his country was satisfied by the plans of the Syrian side regarding Lebanon and the forthcoming withdrawals form the Lebanese territories.
