Syria's President Bashar al-Assad yesterday held a visit to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia during which he met on Sunday evening with King Fahd and with the crown prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz and held talks in the two states on the debated American plan for finding a settlement in occupied Palestine.
