Khaddam, Qaddoumi in Damascus: Sharon is a danger to the USA
Syria's Vice President Abdul Halim Khaddam and the chairman of the political department at the PLO Farouk al-Qaddoumi stressed in a joint meeting in Damascus on Thursday commitment to "resistance as a legitimate right for self defense against the Israeli occupation," considering that the "existence of the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon is a danger on the US and the Israeli people."
