More Sudan rebels commit but not sign peace agreement
IRIN news reported yesterday that "Abdelwahid Mohamed al-Nur's faction of the SLM/A and Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) leader Khalil Ibrahim once again refused to accept the deal because it did not fulfil their key political and security demands."

Sudan does not welcome UN troops
The Los Angeles Times reported today citing an official that Sudan's president Omar Hassan al-Bashir on Tuesday "told ambassadors and deputies representing the (UN Security Council) council's 15 members that he was not convinced, wary that opening the door to more peacekeepers and aid workers was an invitation to occupation of his country."
