Rape, sexual violence continue in Sudan's Darfur region
Armed elements in Sudan's strife-torn Darfur region, including law enforcement officers and the military, continue to perpetrate rape and sexual violence, with the authorities seemingly unable or unwilling to hold them accountable, according to a new United Nations report released today.

Khartoum and the rebels exchange accusations on Darfur clashes
Both the Sudanese government and the rebels in Darfur on Sunday exchanged accusations on the responsibility over the eruption of clashes in the district which is located west of the country. The clashes resulted in killing three members of the Sudanese army.
