Work on a road linking Port Sudan and South Egypt's Aswan will be completed in 22 months, Sudanese Roads Minister Mohamed Tahir Ailla said Friday.

Sudanese inter-peace talks resumed on Friday

Sudanese official: the peace agreement will not break the Salvation Movement
Member of the leading commission of the ruling National Congress party in Sudan, Ghazli Salah Eddin, said that the negative aspects in the peace agreement which was signed between the Sudanese government and the southern rebels should be taken into account at its actual implementation. He added that implementing the agreement should lead to eliminating shortcomings made by the negotiators, noting that the next phase is more critical than the phase of the agreement itself.
