Annan calls on al-Bashir to settle Darfour crisis

Issues that are still pending in the inter- Sudanese peace talks
The people's army for the liberation of Sudan, one of the main rebel group in southern Sudan said on Wednesday that there are still some pending points in the peace talks with the Sudanese government in order to put an end to the war which lasted for 21 years.

Washington: Khartoum, and the rebels agreed a peace agreement
The US Department Of State yesterday announced that the Sudanese government and the southern Sudan rebels stressed in Washington their approval of the items of a peace accord that puts an end to the long conflict and that they can sign the agreement officially "at any time."
