Najamina talks gone with the wind; Khartoum denies violation of Darfour truce
A Sudanese government official yesterday ( Friday) denied that the government forces had violated the cease fire agreement signed on April 8 in Njamina, the capital of Chad, with the two rebel movements in Darfour.

Inter- Sudanese peace negotiations are standstill; African federation intends to deploy observers in Darfour
The commissioner for peace and security in the African federation, Saeed Jenit, said that the federation will deploy next week military observers in Darfour area to the west of Sudan in order to monitor the cease fire which has become valid as from last Sunday between Khartoum government and the rebels.
