Mashakos negotiations rule out alternative presidency; discussions on resources sharing
The Sudanese News agency quoted the advisor for the Sudanese presidency as asserting that the delegations of both the government and the rebels to Mashakos negotiations are heading to dealing with sharing resources despite the fact that they "have not reached a solution on authority sharing."

Sudan arrests 60 Eritreans, Northern parties want in on Mashakos
The Umma party in Sudan led by former prime minister al-Sadeq al-Mahdi announced he proposed a request to the Sudanese government to amend the agreement under discussions in Mashakos that provides for ending the war taking place in Sudan since 19 years.

Ghazi Salah Eddin, the advisor of the Sudanese President for peace affairs, has stressed that negotiations between the Sudanese government and the rebels movement in Mashakos are proceeding according to the set schedule and that talks are concentrating on the issue of authority sharing.
