A spokesman for the Sudanese police said on Wednesday that three men were killed and other 30 wounded in confrontations that took place several days ago between two clans of one Sudanese tribe in one market in Khartoum quarters.

It was disclosed in al-Khartoum on Sunday that a tripartite meeting will be held shortly between the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir, the leader of the rebels of southern Sudan John Garang and Muhammad Othman al-Meirghani, the chairman of the coalition of the opposition parties abroad, the chairman of the federal party.
