Sudan renews al-Nouba mountain agreement with the rebels
A statement by field observers said on Friday that the Sudanese government and the People's Liberation Army will renew a cease- fire agreement in al-Nouba mountain ( al-Wasat) which is due to expire by the end of July.

Two Sudanese- made tanks in a military parade show
A military parade with all types of weapons was shown on Sunday in Khartoum marking the 13th anniversary of the national salvation revolution in Sudan in the presence of the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir and his Yemeni counterpart Ali Abdullah Saleh and officials from Arab and friendly countries.
