Sudan denies border violations with Eritrea
al- Mahdi stressed that there are relentless efforts to establish integrated relations between Sudan and each of Eritrea and Ethiopia in a strategic framework in light of the agreements so far made to adopt conceptions and carry out mediations and guarantees also in regard to Sudanese- Ugandan relations.

Regional summit to achieve reconciliation in Sudan
The Sudanese government and the opposition Democratic National Coalition are taking part in the meeting called upon by the Kenyan leadership in Nairobi next Thursday in order to coordinate between the Libyan- Egyptian initiative on reconciliation and IGAD's peace efforts. The meeting will be attended by Egypt, the US and the European Troika.

Al- Turabi party criticizes constitutional amendments on president
The People's Congress party which is led by Hassan al-Turabi has strongly criticized the constitutional amendments permitted by the Shoura council of the ruling National Congress party especially those pertinent to the President of the Republic and his authority to appoint the Cabinet ministers and the Wali (governors).

Sudan: constitutional amendment to extend Bashir's term of office
The ruling National Congress party in Sudan on Saturday announced the principle of introducing an amendment to the constitution. This measure intends to cancel an article which limits the number of terms of office for presidency in the country to two times for the same president.
