Possible meeting between al-Bashir, al-Meirghani next month
Sudanese governmental sources have disclosed that preparations are underway for a meeting between the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir and the leader of the Sudanese opposition, who is also the chairman of the democratic national coalition Muhammad Othman al- Meirghani, who recently met in Cairo with the secretary general of the national congress party in Sudan Ibrahim Ahmad Omar.

The spokeswoman for the Switzerland foreign minister announced on Saturday that it was announced in Borgonston, the signing of an agreement to cease- fire for six- renewable months in al- Nouba mountains in Sudan in conclusion of the negotiations between the Sudanese government and the people's army for the liberation of Sudan.

Libyan President Muammar al-Qaddafi on Sunday received a message from the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir dealing with bilateral relations and Arab and international issues of mutual concern as well as the results of IGAD's summit recently held in al- Khartoum.
