Khartoum halts its raid on the rebellions
Sudan on Thursday announced that its forces will halt air raids against the rebellion areas in the south, while both Egypt and Libya agreed to revitalize their initiative on reconciliation in Sudan.

The Sudanese opposition Democratic federation party led by Muhammad Othman al-Meir Ghani has announced that the commission of the Sudanese opposition coalition leadership abroad will be holding a meeting in Cairo on June 1st with the participation of all opposition groups in order to revive the joint Libyan- Egyptian initiative on reconciliation and peace in Sudan and it will come up with a decisive decision towards the peaceful settlement.
