Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir has congratulated the US President elect George W. Bush. A Sudanese governmental source said that Khartoum hopes to have the rule of the new US President George Bush a further understanding for pending issues in the relations between the two countries, stressing " the readiness of the Sudanese government to deal seriously and to maintain a dialogue with the new US administration so as to explain and clarify the points of differences in the relations between the two countries.
