Mohammed Asem, Cairo's new ambassador to Sudan, emphasized the strength of Egyptian - Sudanese relations and said they are currently fine and that there were instructions to open a new page to get over the summer cloud that affected these relations in the last period so that the relations came back to normal to achieve a continuous progress that responds to the two people's ambitions.

Sudanese television said yesterday that a new draft was agreed on that allows the Sudanese opposition parties to resume their activity without being officially registered.
