New government in Sudan
On the eve of an important meeting for the ruling Sudanese National Congress Party, during which Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir and the secretary general of the party, Hassan Turabi, agreed on new proposals to share responsibilities, a matter which put an end to crisis between the two men which lasted for 6 weeks, Sudanese television said on Monday that President al-Bashir formed a new government in which the ministers of defense, foreign affairs and the interior as well as the information kept their posts.
