Abdul Meguid calls for reconciliation from Somali leaders
Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid expressed his hope that Somalia would benefit from the sincere efforts exerted by Djiboutian President Ismael Omar Guelleh, which aim at helping achieve Somali reconciliation on a comprehensive basis that maintains Somalia's unity and regional safety and puts an end to the useless fight.

Works of the national reconciliation conference in Somalia were opened on Tuesday in Djibouti in the presence of some 400 Somali representatives with the participation of representatives from various UN organizations, including the UN and governments.
