Somalia: Dryness threatens starvation
UNICEF's office in Nairobi said on Thursday that hundreds of villagers in the central part of southern Somalia left their villages for Beedawa in search of food, due to the drought which damaged their harvests.

The Arab League has called upon its members to resume importation of meats from Somalia after the Somali livestock was proven free from fever and cattle diseases, especially as meat exports generate the main income for Somalia.
