According to one military faction in Makadishu the reconciliation conference scheduled to be convened tomorrow in Bedewa was canceled because of the lack of enough assets to organize it and because of continued confrontations among the warring factions.

Egypt calls for Somali peace talks
A spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said Egypt is following with great anxiety current armed clashes in the city of Chisimayu in southern Somalia, where due to these clashes tens of victims were killed.
