One gunman, one police man were killed in clashes in Riyadh
A statement by the Saudi Ministry of the Interior said that one gunman was killed and another detained in the clashes which took place yesterday midnight in al-Nakheel quarters in Riyadh. The clashes also resulted in killing one policeman and wounding two.

Saudi Arabian security sources said that the Saudi security forces killed two of its extremists in Riyadh on Thursday in a second fire exchange within two days with gunmen suspected to be members in al-Qaida organization in the Kingdom in northern Riyadh.

Two gunmen, one policeman killed in clashes to the east of Riyadh
Saudi Arabian security sources said that one of the two gunmen who were killed in a chasing with the police in al-Quds quarters to the east of Riyadh is Abdullah Muhammad Rashad al-Rashoud, wanted number 22, who is considered the most dangerous in the list of the 26- wanted Saudis.

The Saudi authorities said that one person among those accused of terrorism has surrendered himself to the security forces, to be therefore the first person who responds with the call advocated by the call of King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz to members of al-Qaida organization to surrender themselves within one month.
