Attacking al-Qahtani in Riyadh was made in collaboration with FBI
The official at the Saudi Arabian embassy in Washington, Nael Jaber, said that the Saudi authorities used lists from the American FBI office to identify the persons of Sultan Jubran Sultan al-Qahtani, better known as Abu Zubeir al-Reimi, who was killed in a breaking in operation carried out by the Saudi security forces two days ago in Riyadh.

Supreme court rejects appeal of Al-Qaida dormant cell operatives
The supreme court rejected on Wednesday the appeal lodged by Zouheir Mohamed Hilal Tabiti, a Saudi national who was sentenced early this year to ten years in jail for belonging to an Al-Qaida dormant cell in Morocco, legal sources said Wednesday. Two other Saudis, Jaber Aouad Al Assiri and Abdellah Ben Al Moussafar Al Ghamidi, who were also handed down the same sentence in the same case, had given up the appeal.

Riyadh hands over Sanaa 9 Yemenis involved in 'Limburg' incident
The Saudi Arabian authorities yesterday handed over the Yemeni authorities nine Yemenis detained in the kingdom for security issues including certain persons in the case of blowing the French oil tanker Limburg.

Two incidents violate the Saudi national day; Three Islamists killed, hostages in Jeizan
While celebrating its National Day yesterday, Saudi Arabia witnessed two remarkable security incidents. The first was the killing of four persons in a clash in the southern area of Jeizan between the security forces and armed Islamists, in an incident during which hostages were held in a hospital. The second incident was the besiege of the house of the reform activist Abdul Aziz al-Tayyar and detaining him.
