Qatar: two persons detained over assassination of Yander Baieve
The Qatari official news agency quoted an official at the ministry of the interior on Thursday evening that "two persons suspected to be involved in the assassination of former President of Chechenia Salim Khan Yander Baive in Doha on February 20 were arrested.

Yamani calls on the Gulf states to prioritize education, population
Saudi Arabia's former minister of oil, Ahmad Zaki al-Yamani, who is also member of the board of Qatar council for education and science, stressed the importance to prioritize human resources and concentrate on education so as to increase the potentials of the state in the Gulf region.

Amir of Qatar issues a decree on terrorism fighting
The Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani, has issued the terrorism fighting law after it was approved by the Qatari government and the Shoura council, according to the Qatari news agency. This law, however, is considered the first of its kind in this state.
