On President al-Assad's participation in the OIC summit
The foreign minister Farouk al- Shara said that a decision was not taken over the participation of President Bashar al-Assad in the Islamic summit due to be held in Doha next Sunday.

Well-informed Qatari sources said in a statement to the Saudi daily al-Watan that Doha, in principle had responded to the calls made by the Arab states and therefore it closed the Israeli representation office in Qatar ( a temporary closure).

Jordanian King to attend OIC summit in Doha
Well- informed Jordanian sources on Tuesday underlined the importance of the Islamic summit meetings due to be held in Doha next Sunday. The sources added that the summit will discuss several issues of concern to the Islamic world, noting that al-Aqsa uprising and means of backing it will be on top of the works of this summit.
