Egyptian-Qatari joint committee concludes deliberations
Qatar has joined the Arab states calling for convening an Arab summit. Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem Bin Jaber al-Thani called in a joint press conference with his Egyptian counterpart, Amr Moussa, at the conclusion of the works of the two countries' joint committee for convening an Arab summit to discuss issues facing the Arabs at the present, especially causes pertaining to peace, economy and globalization.

Qatar denies contacts with Israel over hosting Hamas leaders
Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem Bin Jaber al-Thani said on Monday that no contacts were made between Qatar and Israel over his country's hosting of four Hamas leaders who were recently expelled from Jordan.

Well-informed Palestinian sources in Damascus said that two members of the political bureau of the Hamas resistance movement, Mousa Abu Marzouk and Imad al-Alami, on Saturday concluded a secret two-day visit to Qatar, during which they met with the four Hamas leaders who were expelled by the Jordanian authorities to Doha last week.

Qatari - Egyptian meetings in December
Meetings of the Qatari - Egyptian committee are to convene at the beginning of the coming December under the chairmanship of Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem Ben Jabir al-Thani and Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa, who will also visit Bahrain.
