The Brigade of Ezz Eddine al-Qassam, the military wing of the Hamas movement, retaliated the assassination attempt of two of its members on Saturday in a raid in Gaza, by attacking a car for settlers near Rafah Yam settlement that resulted in gravely wounding one settler, while Israel renewed its threat to invade Gaza.
