US Vetoes Security Council draft resolution condemning recent Israeli acts
A draft resolution which would have had the UN Security Council condemn recent Israeli acts, including the killing of several United Nations aid workers, was defeated on Friday by the United States, which in casting a no vote effectively vetoed the text, the United Nations said.

Arafat removes Nuseibah from Jerusalem post
Palestinian sources stressed yesterday that the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat removed Surri Nuseibah from his responsibility for Jerusalem file during a meeting held several days ago with Palestinians responsible for this file.

One Palestinian was killed, wounded people in the Israeli breaking in operation in Deir al-Balah; One Israeli settler was killed
The Palestinian Majdi Mousa was killed and other 7 Palestinians were wounded by the Israeli occupation fire which invaded the city of Deir al-Balah in Gaza yesterday morning, supported by tanks and Apache planes. The Israeli forces destroyed the house of one member in the Fatah movement by dynamite, while the Israeli soldiers arrested 11 Palestinians in Ramullah, Bethlehem; Jenin and Toulkarem.

One Palestinian killed, many wounded of Israeli attacks
The Palestinian Ala' Muhammad al-Saroudi ( 15 year old) was shot during confrontation between the Palestinian resistance fighters and the Israeli army forces in Rafah, where the Israeli bulldozers leveled the land before a military position near the border area with Egypt while other scores of Palestinians were wounded during a clash with the Israeli forces in Nablus.

Syrian draft resolution to condem Israel for killing 3 UN employees
Syria has presented on behalf of the Arab Group in UN Security Council a draft resolution that condemns Israel's killing of three of the United Nations employees and demolishing a food store that belongs to the international organization in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Three Palestinians killed by Israel, scores of houses demolished
The two Palestinians, Abdul karim Shabbat and Muhammad Faraj Edwan, from Beit Hanoun and a third Palestinian near Neve Dakalim settlement were killed by the Israeli bullets, while the Israeli army demolished 15 Palestinian houses near Moraj settlement in Rafah and leveled vast areas of agricultural lands.
