The UN Relief and Work Agency UNRWA has handed over 97 new houses it had built for families in Rafah to the South of Gaza, the Israeli army had destroyed their houses during the Intifada, noting that 529 houses were destroyed or damaged in a way that can not be renovated in Gaza since the beginning of the Intifada in September 2000.

Five Israelis killed, 63 wounded in Palestinian attack
One of the Hamas leaders in Gaza Ismael Henya said that Israel is "the last and first side responsible for the continued martyrdom operations." He added in an interview with al-Jazeera TV in Qatar that "Today ( yesterday)'s operation is an introduction for a series of coming operations that are in retaliation to crimes against the Palestinian people."

Palestinian suicide operation, three settlers killed, continued Israeli demolishing of Palestinian houses
The Israeli radio said Wednesday that one Palestinian detonated an explosive before the due time as he saw the Israeli forces approaching him, while eye witnesses said that the executor of the operation was killed after detonating the explosive. The witnesses said "we saw an Israeli military car hit by the explosion and wounded persons."
