The Israeli supreme court on Thursday decided to extend the detention of the Palestinian secretary of the Fatah Movement in the West Bank Marwan Hussein Bargouthi who is also member of the Palestinian Legislative council for additional 15 days without trial "due to the complexity of his file and the need for extra time to be able to prepare the statement of accusation within the coming weeks," according to the Israeli judge Dourith Benish.
