Some 19 Israelis killed, 66 wounded in a Palestinian operation
A "suicide" operation carried out by a Palestinian youth resulted in killing 19 Israeli settlers and wounding 66, when that youth ( Mihammad Hazza al-Ghoule) exploded a coach coming from Geilo settlement and stopped near Safaqa village before it had stopped.

The European Union has added to its blacklist which includes names of terrorist organizations the two Palestinian movements, led by Abu Nidal and Ahmad Jibril.

Arab League denounces the erection of the Israeli isolation fence
The Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa has strongly denounced Israel's starting to build the fence separating between it and the Palestinian territories. He explained that by doing so Israel is perpetuating its occupation of the Palestinian territories and affirms a rejection to any attempts made to establish a just and comprehensive peace in the region, based on international legitimacy resolutions and the land for peace formula.

Al-Seyasah: Shaath to represent the Palestinians instead of Kaddoumi
A well-informed high ranking Palestinian official has disclosed a decision to the Kuwaiti daily al-Seyasah, taken by the PLO executive committee in its recent meeting to assign Palestinian Authority Planning and International Cooperation official Nabil Shaath to preside over the Palestinian representation to any ministerial Arab meeting in the framework of the Arab League instead of the PLO Head of the Political Department Farkouk Kaddoumi, who resides in Tunisia.

Israeli radio: Israeli sources and the Palestinian state
Israeli sources said on Monday that the declaration of founding a provisional Palestinian state during the current phase will undermine Israel's ability to "fight the Palestinian terrorism" especially the work inside the territories that falls under the complete Palestinian control.

Israeli government starts erection of wall to isolate the West Bank
With the beginning of Israel's implementation of the executive phase of the wall separating the West Bank and the territories occupied in 1948 ( Israel), the Israeli forces continued their attacks against the Palestinians as a result of which many Palestinians were killed or wounded.
