Sheikh Zayed, Sultan Qaboos discuss Gulf summit results
The United Arab Emirates' news agency said on Tuesday that the president of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan, discussed on Tuesday with Sultan Qaboos of Oman the results of the GCC summit which concluded its works on Monday in Riyadh.

Egyptian minister of information to visit Tehran
Egyptian Minister of Information Safwat El-Sherif arrived in Muscat yesterday on a two-day visit to Oman before heading to Tehran to participate in meetings of the information ministers of the Islamic states to be held today in Tehran.

Oman signs contract to export gas with US company
Omani official sources said that Oman's company for liquid natural gas (LNG) signed yesterday an agreement to sell 1.38 million cubic meters of liquid natural gas to the Coral Energy Resources, L.P., adding that the Omani company signed an agreement to export 11 cargoes, each of which is 125,000 cubic meters of LNG, to the US company, which handles marketing the energy products of the Shell Company.
