Mauritania's ruler keeps the relation with Israel
Faal, on the other hand, stressed that the government will not permit a license to founding Islamic parties, noting that Islam is Mauritania's religion, according to the constitution "and no party can monopolize it," adding to the "democratic alliance" ( al-Tadafur al-Demoqrati ) party which Islamists constitute its main power which had been seeking a license since a while.
